If you have a stone floor in your kitchen our specialist stone floor cleaning service could be of interest to you.
It can be difficult to keep on top of certain types of flooring found in your home, natural stone and tile cleaning in dining and kitchen areas can be particularly hard to clean.
Kitchens and dining areas are the places that see frequent spillages of food and drink. Add pet related deposits too, the hard flooring in these areas could sometimes really benefit from professional cleaning.
There are many domestic cleaning gadgets and solutions advertised for floors, but sometimes using industrial equipment is the only answer.
The image attached to this text shows us scrubbing in our professional cleaning solutions with a rotary machine and brush system.
This gets into all the facing layers of the stone, making sure that our solutions are comprehensively brushed into the floor surface.
Even after many years in our business, its always very satisfying seeing a stone floor come back to life. We can remove years of ground in grease and dirt. After we have completed step one of our process, we use and industrial wet vacuum system to remove the slurry left after scrubbing.
This is often a revelation. As with this recent project, colours start to return, leaving the stone floor looking as it did when it was installed. Dirt and grime can sometimes build up unnoticed until one day its clear that the floor needs deep cleaning. Look at those lovely colours returning! Stone floor cleaning at its best.
We use a commercial flat mop system to rinse the floor surfaces after we have used our industrial vacuum cleaner.
We tend to rinse clean an area of around 2m x 2m and need to change the water. This images shows the filthy water removed even after we have used our wet vacuum system.
Its really hard to work out how dirty a hard floor surface is until you start to clean it, then all is revealed!
This image shows the dark brown thick sludge our flat mop system removed. Our customer was genuinely shocked when she saw what she had been living with!
Some areas can be a little tight! We are used to navigating our way around tight areas in your kitchen.
The tightest areas are often the dirtiest.
Especially between ovens and islands.
Grease and food deposits can easily get ground into the stone floors in these areas.
As well as looking dirty they can actually make a kitchen smell.
Our customer had tried many different cleaning solutions and methods to clean her stone floor.
Her main method was to use a steam cleaning system. Our stone cleaning process really does deliver a great finish.
Colours are returning as we work our way at of the dining area. One last brush before the final rinse.
Our client was delighted with the final results from our visit. Vibrant colours had returned and the tiles had a natural clean sheen to them.
As they had only just purchased the property, they were pleased to get the tiles back to their original condition with no remnants of the previous owners.
Mission accomplished!
